Not a fan of the shop idea. Turns epics into a grind. RNG drop factor is a lot
more entertaining/enticing, but maybe that is just me.

Rare rolled epic eq could be a solution to breathing new life into all epics,
old and new.

Yes, Icefall equipment starts at rank 4 (Some other areas like Oradrin's Chosen
and The Inferno have equipment starting at rank 1), which requires a minimum
of 75 runs before you can purchase any pieces from the icefall store with your
points. Icefall is limited to, I believe, 2 (maybe 2.5) runs per week.

There are some epics that only require 5 people. I think the most notable one
is Titan, where you can get the best leg slot equipment in the game.

Regardless of activity and leadership availability, it can't hurt to
increase the number of epic runs on a weekly basis.

I said this a year or two ago and I'll say it again, expecting someone to
invest 10 months (38 weeks) of time into two runs per week (assuming runs
are being held twice a week, in your time zone, they fit with your real
life schedule, and they don't fail to complete) before seeing any reward
in Icefall is retarded.

I miss most of the Icefall runs due to timezones. Repop the epics more often
but cap how many you can do in a certain week. That cap should be raised on
Icefall and Inferno to around 4 times per week.

I did t9 in 1 year of playing and I found it more fun than pupping. Actually
I stopped playing altogther for a couple years once I realized what "end game"
was. If not for epics I still wouldn't be here.

The tier grind is a lot more varied than SH pupping. You visit different areas,
do campaigns more often, and complete goals at their appropriate level.

Instinct grind is more or less pointless when pvp is one foot in the grave.

I notice when I play enchanter subclass I'm doing almost 2x the damage
with dual aard weapons relative to immolate. It seems unintuitive that a mage
would do more damage with melee than with spells, regardless of subclass and
mastery/instinct/build - which I don't have a whole lot of.

Maybe give all mage subclasses power projection, or nerf their weapon hits?

Genuinely asking, I've never tracked damage output really...

Maybe that "certain number" for both rolls needs adjusted higher so that it's
not feasible to hit the practical caps in both at the same time without
something like a trivia/imm spellup.

If you are getting dispelled by mobs, fight easier mobs, tier or get wishes.

Though on second thought...if you want to give casters 5th/6th attack I'd be

Just want to point out that Tier/raided eq really only serves to
reach stat caps. Dr/Hr is negligible compared to instinct, mastery, potential
and resists from epic equipment.

All players, clanned or not, should be able to actively work towards getting
eq that will hit their caps. Raiding and in extension Market is not a viable
way to do that.

Area Quests and Goals, and mobs like The Cerulean Nautilus should provide this
eq.

I have 65 inferno runs, 73 icefall runs.

To show for those minimum 138 hours, spanning months of real time,
I think I have a rank 1 float and rank 3 hold?

I decided that sort of time investment wasn't worth it to me, so I haven't
played in the past year.

Getting to T9 was fun though, but that fell off shortly thereafter. Hopefully
something can be done to bring new life back into the end-game.

Agree with idea that 9 tiers is too many.
Don't agree with a minimum hp level. It's a small hurdle, you have to build
yourself up.
Don't agree with stat increase. Many people have worked hard on quests and
campaigns to get the Potential that they have. Fewer people have donated lots
of money to buy potential, which admittedly helps support the game.
Agree with SH stat carry over, and t9 redo buffs.

tl/dr A MONTHLY CLAN UPKEEP COST.

Includes gold and tp upkeep costs.

Upper limit on any one member's upkeep contribution.

Contribution not mandatory for any one member, just as long as upkeep
balance is met.

All upkeep contributions go into a secondary clan bank account at end of
month. 

The following month, Week 1+2 the secondary balance is protected. It is
used for closed EQ and other clan upgrades.

Week 3+4 anything remaining of this secondary bank balance is open to
raiders, split amongst raid party upon breach.

If monthly upkeep cost is not met, penalties are levied, increasing in
severity for each consective month.

Month 1 - disable v2 skill.
Month 2 - disable v1 skill.
Month 3 - ???.

Penalties are removed, one by one, if upkeep cost(s) are met for following
month(s).

Purpose: Encourage clan members to be active. Provide raid/pvp
incentive(s). Kill off dying clans.

It is a multiplayer game, doesn't make sense to promote solo play.

Also, epic gear is pvp oriented. You don't need the huge resists to get 30
second pup times.

Either a way to buy them normally without the 3rd flag unowned like
an extra arguement to the buy command or a toggle and if necessary

1. Ability to wager gold on the outcome of a duel, this would be a new
parameter and would take gold from bank balances of both combatants. This
would not be for third parties.

2. An automatic dice system like the duel system. You could send a wager to
anyone and the mud would roll e.g. dice 1 2 and funds would be automatically
transfered using bank balances. Could also be made into a gold sink
with a small % rake.
