Results seem to be the same. It's been pointed out that it is unknown

Maybe what I put in the note is misleading.

While using power projection/timeshifting, I attacked the mobs over
5-10mins until fluctuations in dps (due to multi-hit chance RNG) were
insignificant (+-10 dmg/sec).

Also to set the record straight on what these spells do:

Power projection increases multi-hit chance from 3-4 hits to 3-5 hits.
2 hit may be possible? with spear, but its extremely rare if it is.

Timeshifting is explained in help detail-timeshifting. Suffice to say
no lag for 3 rounds is not possible.

Upon further review, Durthar is the only boss that desperately needs
a change.

A big problem is the instant teleports combined with many tendrils. The

This is the only epic that doesn't have a repop timer, isn't closed, and
is worthwhile to run. I have a few small improvements (5 x T9 difficulty).


Grakkr
-----------

Problem: Too much health, no risk involved.

Changes:
Decrease hp% by a large margin (50%+- reduction).
Change aura more consistently.
Attacking with wrong dam type heals Grakkr and damages group.


Durthar
-----------

Problem: Tendrils are not fun. Groups restart if this is the first boss.

Changes:
Tendrils are not immune (small amount of hp, killable in 2-4 rounds).
or
Remove tendrils.
Durthar translocates more often and/or when not engaged in combat.

*Tame doesn't make much difference. 


Rograg
-----------

Problem: Meta only uses red altar.

Suggestion:
Make more colors necessary for faster kills.

Don't forget soldier on top of all that has hammering blow (daze).

The cooldown persists after death which means if you die immediately
after casting you have to wait 20+ minutes to use the spell again.

This is needlessly punishing during epics.

Can the cooldown at least be removed when you die during an epic, if not
after any death?

At the moment the only way I know how to check daily pups is waiting for

Well the obvious area is Genie because all of those pieces have no stats.
Oradrin's Chosen pieces (Head, Eyes, Light) are beat by other epics
so I don't see much in the way of revitalization there.

If for some reason stats became more important (like stats past 600), then
perhaps this would be more inticing. Personally I'd rather have all epic
equipment be similar to Genie and then have a guaranteed roll every time on
oload, just to mix things up. But that doesn't mesh well for very hard to get
items like IF2, or in situations where people have used orbs/tricrystals etc.

I don't follow what you're getting at.

Only area authors can change the lua code behind an area. If the area creators
in question have no interest in making changes to the area, then that leaves
it in the hands of Lasher. If Lasher has no interest, as he stated so, then
further discussion is pointless.

more entertaining/enticing, but maybe that is just me.

Rare rolled epic eq could be a solution to breathing new life into all epics,

Yes, Icefall equipment starts at rank 4 (Some other areas like Oradrin's Chosen
and The Inferno have equipment starting at rank 1), which requires a minimum
of 75 runs before you can purchase any pieces from the icefall store with your
points. Icefall is limited to, I believe, 2 (maybe 2.5) runs per week.

There are some epics that only require 5 people. I think the most notable one
is Titan, where you can get the best leg slot equipment in the game.

Regardless of activity and leadership availability, it can't hurt to
increase the number of epic runs on a weekly basis.

I said this a year or two ago and I'll say it again, expecting someone to
invest 10 months (38 weeks) of time into two runs per week (assuming runs
are being held twice a week, in your time zone, they fit with your real
life schedule, and they don't fail to complete) before seeing any reward
in Icefall is retarded.

I miss most of the Icefall runs due to timezones. Repop the epics more often
but cap how many you can do in a certain week. That cap should be raised on
Icefall and Inferno to around 4 times per week.

I did t9 in 1 year of playing and I found it more fun than pupping. Actually
I stopped playing altogther for a couple years once I realized what "end game"
was. If not for epics I still wouldn't be here.

The tier grind is a lot more varied than SH pupping. You visit different areas,
do campaigns more often, and complete goals at their appropriate level.

Instinct grind is more or less pointless when pvp is one foot in the grave.

I notice when I play enchanter subclass I'm doing almost 2x the damage
with dual aard weapons relative to immolate. It seems unintuitive that a mage
would do more damage with melee than with spells, regardless of subclass and
mastery/instinct/build - which I don't have a whole lot of.

Maybe give all mage subclasses power projection, or nerf their weapon hits?

Genuinely asking, I've never tracked damage output really...

Maybe that "certain number" for both rolls needs adjusted higher so that it's
not feasible to hit the practical caps in both at the same time without
something like a trivia/imm spellup.

Do an overhaul of the race system while you're at it.

A pup class isn't the best to pvp with, who would've thought.

If you are getting dispelled by mobs, fight easier mobs, tier or get wishes.

Though on second thought...if you want to give casters 5th/6th attack I'd be
fine with that 'exchange'.
