When people go "thief sucks in pk" I've never heard any argument
by imms your you - why that is so.

Lot's of "whatever, change class", "thief should not be strong class",
some "wanna cheese with that whine" also. But this has been as long
as I've been here. Thats.. 8 years? with no arguments by imms? Thats
a lot.

Unless there's some, we don't have much to go on ideawise.
So, my 2 ideas - fix assassin, make it ok in pvp.

About assassins's lag-free kills - again why cutting the general power
output? why not address the lag-free-kills directly?
pls give more moves with rejuvenate

Damage mode 5.
Backstab hits show the "*"s. Melee hits don't. 
Checked all other damage modes also. Found no other problems.

Bandit combat is assassin's minus quickstab and 5th attack on backstab yes?
Then its basically the weakest pvp class in the mud. Entrap went useless
with OPK coming in. Well, much less useful anyway.

I haven't played bandit, so I wouldn't know exactly how fast it pups. But
asked around and heh, no one knows really:) I suspect that bandit obviously
much slower at 201 and that 30% more gold actually means way less trains and
a little bit more gold. So not many people even care about it.

I think that if pilferage would get a boost (at least boost personal income), 
then it'd become quite a good option for poor people. Dunno about the balance,
as usual.

Speaking as assassin, ninja can keep its bs's.. I would take some damage
over time skill instead. Venomist also. It'd be logical and fun. Would
make pk as assassin a thing once again. The combat dynamics would get
more exciting also. It'd be something new here. The skills I mean.
The venomist's .. venoms could have bigger effect while the combat progresses,
assassin's .. "jugular cut" could be constant damage but stackable.

There should be some kind of advanced scan for VI but that also would
help scripting greatly.

But we don't really need crazy complicated mazes. Also, we don't need them
too large (unless something "epic"). And they should always start
with the "fog of war" - before exploring, the parts are not even shown.

To design such things well, we could use a good logic that helps people who
care to read instead running around aimlessly for exits - there is this
maze in lemdagor. The rooms are connected randomly but the connections are
logical - eep.. go see:)
So, same thing with the mazes - if following a stream, you should be arriving
to a lake. If the road "widens"(in description) you know it should lead to
something importan. It takes longer to put it together but would be well 
worth the effort. 
Helps humans a lot, not too much help for simpler scripts.

Hi,

I'd like to create one thing and only that one thing in such program.
So, I'm not interested to dig through all the available programs and 
would like to ask if some of you had some experience with those instead.

The thing I'd like to do is a simple knob.. a button with a few tricks.
Is there a good simple CAD program that can animate my button, calculate
friction & elasticity with different materials and be easy enough for
beginner?

We can do all sorts of things with our client. This one seemed simple
enough - put that qtime variable at the end of the message. Hurts no one,
helps a few who then can stay lazy and not do those things:)

Anyway, thought this could be nice little touch there.
